+ What is Pinoy Money Visa Card?
It is an ATM or debit card that overseas Filipinos can apply for and give to their beneficiaries in the Philippines. Use it to withdraw funds at Megalink, Bancnet and Expressnet ATMs in the Philippines.
+ How can I avail of Pinoy Money Visa Card
For Existing Clients:
- Log-in to your account
- Go to BENEFICIARIES module. Inside that module, create a beneficiary record if you have not done so. After creating a beneficiary, create a delivery mode for the beneficiary on the same module. Choose DEBIT CARD-PINOY MONEY CARD (AU-PH 24-48 HRS), provide other details such as account name (to appear on the card). Leave the checkmark on "NOTIFY ADMINISTRATOR FOR DELIVERY MODE VERIFICATION" checkbox as it is in order to allow automatic verification. Press the Save button.
- Go to REQUEST FOR DEBIT CARD MODULE. Fill-up the form -- select DEBIT CARD-SMART MONEY CARD (AU-PH 24-48 HRS) as the debit card of choice. Enter other beneficiary information details, then press SUBMIT button
- As soon as we have received the notification, we shall process the creation of the Pinoy Money Card together with the mailing to the beneficiary.
- Be sure to update your beneficiary record with the Pinoy Money Card number (debit card number) under the mode of delivery module specific to the beneficiary. Upon request, we may also update your beneficiary record's delivery mode with the new data containing the Pinoy Money Card account number plus some other details and mark it as VERIFIED.
- Once received, beneficiaries should advise senders that they have received the card and you can start processing remittance online. Sender must be sure that the beneficiary record (as well as the delivery mode specifics where the Pinoy Money Card is attached) is available and updated.
- After you have built your beneficiaries list and mode of delivery (where the Pinoy Money Card is attached), you may send money to it anytime. Building of beneficiary data and subsequent mode of delivery may only be done once.
For New Clients:
You will have to sign-up and do steps 1 to 5 given above.
+ How quickly will your beneficiary receive the funds?
Almost real-time, that is, as soon as your payment has been received and credited in PESOePADALA.com Bank accounts and we shall give Union Bank the electronic instruction to credit your beneficiary's Pinoy Money Card. Also, Union Bank system will automatically send SMS to your beneficiary's mobile phone with message that the card has just been credited.
+ Is there a maintaining balance?
None. You are not required to keep a balance in the card.
+ What is the benefit of using Pinoy Money Visa Card?
The Pinoy Money Card provides you and your beneficiaries the most convenient with an easier and most convenient way of sending and receiving remittances. It allows you to remit funds directly to the ATM Card of your beneficiaries. As a result, your beneficiaries no longer have to line up in remittance centres/outlets to claim funds/money you send. They can just go to any ATM in the Philippines and withdraw money).
+ What should I do if my card got lost or stolen?
You or your beneficiary should call PESOePADALA.com or UnionBank to report the lost or stolen card. A replacement card will be issued to your beneficiaries subject to the requirements of UnionBank. In your succeeding remittances, you have to specify the new card number so that the funds will be credited to the new replacement card.
+ Are there any maximum transaction limit?
Yes. The maximum transaction limit per month is Php20,000.00.

Smart Padala is a transfer service allowing PESOePADALA.com to remit money straight to the Smart Money Account of the Sender's Beneficiary at the speed of text. It is a faster and cheaper way of remitting cash from a sender to the celfone/mobile of a beneficiary in the Philippines.
+ How does Smart Padala work?
For senders abroad:
- Sign-up at PESOePADALA.com
- Log-in to your account
- If you have already built your beneficiaries and delivery mode(s) for each, go to step 4. Otherwise, do EITHER of the following (preferred method is item 1):
- Go to BENEFICIARIES module. Inside that module, create a beneficiary record if you have not done so. After creating a beneficiary, create a delivery mode for the beneficiary on the same module. Choose DEBIT CARD-SMART MONEY CARD (AU-PH 24-48 HRS), provide other details such as account name (to appear on the card). Leave the checkmark on "NOTIFY ADMINISTRATOR FOR DELIVERY MODE VERIFICATION" checkbox as it is in order to allow automatic verification. Press the Save button.
- Go to REQUEST FOR DEBIT CARD MODULE. Fill-up the form -- select SMARTMONEY (SMARTPADALA) as the debit card choice. Enter other beneficiary information details, then press SUBMIT button
- Go to SEND MONEY module. Complete the REMITTANCE FORM and proceed to check-out.
- PESOePADALA.com will transfer your remittance to the Smart Money number of your Beneficiary in minutes once payment is confirmed credited in PESOePADALA.com bank account. (NOTE: if you're using Smart Padala for the first time, your beneficiary will be assigned a Smart money number to which the remittance will be transferred).
- Be sure to update your beneficiary record with the Smart Money number (debit card number) under the mode of delivery module specific to the beneficiary. Upon request, we may also update your beneficiary record's delivery mode with the new data containing the Smart Money number plus some other details and mark it as VERIFIED.
- After you have built your beneficiaries list and mode of delivery specific to each beneficiary, you may send money to it anytime. Building of beneficiary data and subsequent mode of delivery may only be done once.
For beneficiaries in the Philippines:
- You will receive a text message indicating your 16-digit Smart Money number. Another text message will be sent to confirm that the money has been received through the Smart money number.
- Go encash, go to any Smart Padala Center.
- You will be sent a Smart Money card or you have the option to get a Smart Money Card in any Smart Wireless Center. Using the card, you can withdraw cash in any Banco de Oro, Expressnet or Megalink ATM's nationwide.
+ How will I get a Smart Money Number?
For Smart Super SIM 3 users:
- In your Smart celfone, go to Smart Menu and click Smart Money.
- Choose Activate Card
- Enter your desired 6-digit w-PIN twice.
- You will receive a confirmation message with your activated 16-digit Smart Money Number.
For Smart Super SIM 1 & 2 users:
- Text MONEY to 343
- You will receive a confirmation message with your 16-digit Smart Money Number.
- In your Smart Celfone, go to Smart Menu, select Activate card and enter your Smart Money Number.
- Name the card & confirm activation.
- Enter default PIN (123456) then enter your new PIN.

Cebuana Lhuillier is another money transfer service allowing PESOePADALA.com to remit money straight to Cebuana Lhuillier outlet nearest to the beneficiary. It is also a fast and cheap way of remitting cash from a sender to nearest Cebuana Lhuillier outlet. Beneficiaries in the Philippines are informed of the CONTROL NUMBER and nearest Cebuana Lhuillier outlet via text or phone call.
+ How does Cebuana Lhuillier work?
For senders abroad:
- Sign-up at PESOePADALA.com
- Log-in to your account
- If you have already built your beneficiaries and delivery mode(s) for each, go to step 4. Otherwise, go to BENEFICIARIES module. Inside that module, create a beneficiary record if you have not done so. Be sure to indicate address and phone/mobile number of beneficiary so we can send information to them. After creating a beneficiary, create a delivery mode for the beneficiary on the same module. Choose either CEBUANA LHUILLIER(AU to PH 24-48 hrs pick up) or CEBUANA LHUILLIER (AU to PH same day pick up), then provide other details. Press the Save button.
- Go to SEND MONEY module. Complete the REMITTANCE FORM and proceed to check-out.
- PESOePADALA.com will transfer your remittance to Cebuana Lhuillier in minutes once payment is confirmed credited in PESOePADALA.com bank account.
- We will contact the beneficiary via phone/mobile number you have provided and communicate to them the CONTROL NUMBER. PESOePADALA.com will also communicate to you the nearest Cebuana Lhuillier outlet to beneficiary's address. So, be sure to include those information either on beneficiary's data or beneficiary's delivery mode section.
- Building of beneficiary data and subsequent mode of delivery may only be done once.
For beneficiaries in the Philippines:
- You will receive a text message indicating your CONTROL NUMBER and Cebuana Lhuillier outlet nearest to you.
- Go encash, go to the Cebuana Lhuillier outlet specified.
